Cuidado Piso Mojado

Philosophy is a list of questions you’re guaranteed to never answer.  Familiarity with its basic outline is useful because it helps you not to waste your time.  Upon emerging from a screening of The Matrix, instead of saying, “That was mind-blowing!  Let’s go discuss its implications,” you say, “That was Descartes’ ‘Evil Demon’.  Let’s go get a drink and speculate about our coworkers’ sex lives.”  Philosophy is bright yellow, flashing, and translated into Spanish just to be on the safe side.
